Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the state government is working towards making world-class medical services available to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
He announced that the Sanjeevani project will be implemented across AP from August 15 this year. The Chief Minister attended the Sanjeevani program organized in Yadamari, Putalapattu constituency of Chittoor district. The Chief Minister described Sanjeevani as not just a software, but a comprehensive digital public health operative system.
The CM said that this system will work on the basis of three principles – preventive, predictive and curative. He clarified that public health will be protected through early detection, prevention and treatment before the disease occurs. He said that the government has taken steps to conduct 42 medical tests at home and submit reports.
He explained that Rs. 19,305 crore has been allocated for the health sector in this budget. He said that Andhra Pradesh is the state that has received the highest health grants of Rs. 2,601 crore from the 15th Finance Commission.
He said that under the Universal Health Policy, medical services are worth Rs. 2.50 lakh will be provided to everyone in the state, regardless of the poor or rich. He said that the government has taken steps to cover medical expenses up to Rs. 25 lakh through NTR Medical Service and CM Relief.
The CM commented that the Kodali party is getting excited after seeing the development projects undertaken by the alliance along with the super six schemes in the state.
He said that people should carefully observe that in the state, there is politics that saves people’s lives on one side and politics that scares people and deceives them on the other.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that people who tell lies when they open their mouths come before the media and say good things .. This is the nature of the axe party.
