The government has decided to provide mid-day meals to school students with farmer-grown rice to provide delicious and nutritious meals, said the state’s Civil Supplies Minister Shri Nadendla Manohar.

He said that three and a half lakh metric tons of rice will be supplied to 41,000 government schools and 4,000 welfare hostels in the state from June 12.

He said that it is the responsibility of the government to stand by the farmers and a strong market yard committee has been formed with the combination of the three parties, and they all hoped to strengthen the yard further in the future.

As Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan decided to stand by the farmers no matter how many financial difficulties they face, the grain dues were paid to the farmers within a month of the coalition government coming to power.

We have purchased about 48 lakh metric tonnes of grain in Kharif and Rabi, which is the most purchased by any state in the history of India. In this regard, Rs. 12,400 crores have been deposited in the accounts of farmers within 24 hours. The Minister said.

We have provided the farmers with the facility to sell to any mill they want. We have brought in technology to sell grain through WhatsApp.

Ration shops will be open from 8 am to 12 pm and again from 4 pm to 8 pm from the 1st to the 15th of every month. We will distribute goods on Sundays as well. Minister Manohar said that beneficiaries will be able to take ration at any time during that time.

On the 4th of this month, celebrations are being organized across the state under the auspices of the Jana Sena Party. Manohar released a poster related to this.

Avanigadda MLA Sri Mandali Buddha Prasad presided over the oath-taking ceremony of the Chairman and Directors of Kodali Agricultural Market Yard, Ghantasala Mandal, Avanigadda Constituency.
