AMARAVATI; AP TDP Chief Palla Srinivas Rao , said , That Visakhapatnam will be the key location for the groundbreaking ceremony of Google’s flagship data center project on the 28th of this month, which is a key milestone in Andhra Pradesh’s technological journey.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for the project, which will be built with an investment of about $ 15 billion (₹1.35 lakh crore), and the facility, spread over about 601 acres, will be completed by July 2028, he explained.
The project is strengthening the backbone of the state’s digital infrastructure, with the potential to create significant employment, and shaping constructive economic development.
He described the project as a growth driver for Uttar Andhra, having far-reaching impacts on youth employment and regional development, and as a “game changer” in economic and social terms.
He described the Chief Minister as a capable leader who has transformed long-term vision into practical results, saying that Chandrababu Naidu’s governance has attracted world-class technology giants.
The project is in line with the broader vision of making the state a global hub in sectors like information technology, electronics, green energy and horticulture. Srinivas said that Chandrababu and Lokesh’s goal is to make Andhra Pradesh a leader in the country in the coming decades.He added.
