AMARAVATI; The Constitution of India, framed under the visionary leadership of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, continues to be a guiding light for the nation and a pillar in the lives of all citizens.
The greatest tribute we can pay to the great man is to stand by the educated sections of the society and bring them to a higher status, said Smt. Roshni Aparanji Korati, Deputy Chairperson, Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA).
Paying tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s contribution in drafting the Indian Constitution, as well as his eternal principles of equality and justice, Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) celebrated Ambedkar’s 135th birth anniversary with great pomp and enthusiasm for a fortnight.
On this occasion, as part of the celebrations, the association members distributed sarees to needy women and books to students.
The program was organized by VPA SC/ST Officers Association President G. Umamaheswara Rao and Secretary M. Deviswara Rao, along with SC/ST Employees Welfare Association President
O. Ramalingam and Secretary G. Sivaramakrishna.
