Andhra Pradesh Journalists Union for Print and Electronic Media (APJU) President Jale Vasudeva Naidu, General Secretary and All India Newspaper Employees Federation (AINEF) New Delhi Senior Vice President Chaladi Poornachandra Rao have urged the government and police authorities to register a case against Krishnam Raju, who spoke badly about women in a Sakshi TV channel debate, and to immediately arrest them, in a press release issued here today.
They said that there are complaints that the debates conducted by some channels are annoying and unpleasant to watch TV as participants beat, insult, challenge and challenge each other.
They asked the channels conducting the debates to ensure that the participants in the debates are fully aware of the relevant issues and to invite qualified experts to the debates to protect the values of journalism.
They said that the thumbnails of some YouTube channels are damaging the personal reputation of some people irrespective of the content, and some YouTubers are acting on their own and violating their fundamental rights, which is causing serious damage to national security.
They demanded that the YouTube app be banned from India to control those who pose a threat to national security and bring journalism into disrepute.
They said that the state information department is also thinking about the same thing and is considering bringing unregulated journalism in the process of bringing good journalism.
