DGP Harish Kumar Gupta said that Operation Trace program will be organized to identify missing girls in the state and

DGP Harish Kumar Gupta said that Operation Trace programs will be implemented in all districts of the state through the Women and Child Safety Wing in the form of a special drive.
He said that a special drive is being conducted from August 1 to 31 under the auspices of the Women and Child Safety Wing to completely control the abductions and disappearances of girls.
He said that the police machinery of the state will participate in the Operation Trace program with full coordination. “The aim of Operation Trace is to identify girls who have strayed from their families, provide them with the necessary assistance and reunite them with their families,” the DGP said.
The Mission Vatsalya portal, facial recognition, transport hubs, shelters, border check posts, and NGOs will be used to identify missing girls and surveillance will be set up with women police in problematic areas.
The rescued girls will be reunited with their families and temporary accommodation will be arranged for them. They will be provided with medical care, food, shelter, clothing, necessary legal advice, age verification tests, identification documents and if any atrocities are committed against them, a case will be registered. Counselors will be appointed through NGOs to provide psychological counseling to the affected girls.
They will be provided with education, skill training, career guidance He said that government welfare schemes will be provided. In connection with the Operation Trace program, task forces will be formed at the district and sub-division levels for data collection on August 1st and 2nd, and special inspections will be conducted by NGOs and the government from August 3rd to 10th.
He said that re-verification of the relevant FIRs will be done, and technology will be used as part of it. He said that age-related information will be collected through face recognition, DNA testing, and Aadhaar.
From August 11th to 30th, a program called Find Here will be organized with the participation of the public to identify missing girls through special inspections at railway stations, bus stands, places of worship and red light areas.
He said that a complaint can be filed for missing children through the feature called Report Missing Children in the Shakti app, He said that the police can immediately respond and help in times of distress by pressing the SOS button.
He asked people to provide information about missing children by calling 112 or to the Child Helpline number 1098, Women Helpline number 181 or Shakti WhatsApp number 7993485111. He said that Shakti teams are working in every police unit in the state for the protection of women, and these public places are being hit by the miscreants who do eve teasing.
He said that the one-stop centers set up under the auspices of the state government in every district unit center will help the affected women and girls in every way.
Five girls from the classrooms of every school campus in the state will be formed as Shakti Warriors groups and the Shakti teams will explain to them about good touch and bad touch and inform the girls about the precautions to be taken. He said that it will be done.
DGP Harish Kumar Gupta has ordered that this program should be carried out as a first priority in all the district units of the state through the police stations. ADGP N.
