On the orders of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, State Human Resources Minister Nara Lokesh, Lokesh, other associate ministers and officials have achieved a great success in bringing the Telugu people of Andhra Pradesh who were caught in the Nepal riots to the state safely, said Telugu Desam Party official spokesperson Patarla Ramesh.
The initiative shown by the young leader, the state Chief Minister, the state Minister Nara Lokesh, in rescuing the Telugu people caught in the Nepal violence, and his forward-looking approach, not only the Telugu people of the state but also the entire Telugu people across the country, are congratulating Lokesh and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking to reporters in Amaravati on Friday, he praised Lokesh for standing at the forefront of any disaster that befell the Telugu people. He said that Telugu people are involved in the ongoing massacre in Nepal. He said that he had canceled his Anantapur trip and reached the Secretariat in the morning and converted the Real Time Governance Center War Room into a Command Control Room to expedite the relief operations.
He spoke to the victims and encouraged them and prepared a map with location coordinates of where they were. He said that an emergency helpline was set up in AP Bhavan in Delhi and food, water and accommodation facilities were provided to the stranded people. He said that Lokesh highlighted the humanitarian response and the responsibility of the government towards its people.
With the support of the Center, Lokesh played a key role in bringing back the Telugu people trapped in the riots with a clear strategy.
He criticized Jagan Reddy for not acting with even a humanitarian perspective when the Telugu people were trapped in Nepal.
In the past, in bringing back the Telugu people trapped in the Uttarakhand floods, Patarla Ramesh said, the coalition government has succeeded in bringing back the Telugu people safely from Nepal.
