Rajahmundry SP P Jagadesh in an incident where a gold merchant was robbed and gold and cash were recovered from him. the police were very present, but with the help of technology, they caught the robbers and seized the property in timely To this extent, SP Jagdish today explained to the media representatives in Rajamhandravaram.
Balunathuram, a gold merchant from Bhimavaram, was coming to Bhimavaram (West Godavari) in his Swift Desire car with his driver from Jangareddy gudem, when he reached the outskirts of Potavaram, the five accused sidetracked the vehicle.near Gaman Godavari Bridge .
An Innova Crysta car across their car forced the gold merchant and his driver into their Innova car and took gold ornaments around 3.5KG & cash of Rs. 5 lakhs (gold worth Rs.2.3 crores) and escaped from there in two cars.
Based on the report given by the gold merchant in this regard, a case of dacoity has been registered under Sections No. 79/2024 U/S 365, 342, 395 IPC at Nallajarla Police Station of East Godavari District.
East Godavari District S P P. Jagdish, the team immediately stepped into the field and formed 4 separate special teams on warputting to identify the accused through technical evidence and verify their movements, analyzing the call data from time to time. .
In the meantime, 9 accused were caught from Rajamahendravaram on Innova Crista and Swift Dzire cars and 9 accused were caught and 3.5 kg of gold was seized from the accused.
Superintendent of police P.Jagadish said that 9 accused have been arrested, in this connection. SP congratulated the investigating Police officers and staff.
