ANOTHER TWIST IN THE LIQUOR CASE —– CBI PRODUCED KAVITHA IN THE COURT.

Arrested in the Delhi liquor scam case, Kavitha’s difficulties have enlarged. The CBI officials arrested Kavitha in the liquor scam case on Thursday and produced her in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court at 10.00 am on Friday. The CBI asked Kavitha to be in custody for 5 days. CBI says that Kavitha held meetings related to this scam in many places including Delhi and Hyderabad.

According to the testimony of Kavitha’s auditor Buchibabu, it is clear that there are many key leaders including Vijay Nair and Magunta Srinivas. Lawyers for CBI say that WhatsApp chats confirmed that Kavitha collected 100 crores from South Group. CBI lawyers further said that evidences related to this have been submitted to the court. That is why the CBI is asking the judge of the Delhi Special Court to interrogate her. The CBI says that more details are likely to come to light if the case is investigated

Kavitha, who was already in jail as part of the ED investigation, has been arrested once again. Now she has to get not one but two bails to liberate. A single case resulted in two arrests. CBI has also arrested Kavitha who is already in Tihar Jail with ED arrest. The CBI is alleging that Kavitha conspired with Delhi CM Kejriwal, who is accused in the liquor case.

On the other hand, Kavitha’s lawyers have filed a petition in the judge bench of the CBI special court challenging the arrest of Kavitha without any notice. However, Judge Manoj Kumar said that the liquor case was not argued before him. He clarified that he cannot give any relief in this case. It is suggested to file a petition in the court at 10 am today.

ED officials arrested Kavitha in Hyderabad on 15th of last month in the liquor policy case. The court has already extended her custody three times. The hearing on Kavitha’s regular bail petition will be held on 16th of this month. CBI’s arrest of Kavitha in this order has become a sensation.
