Speaking on this occasion, he directed Eagle Chief Ravi Krishna to take strict steps to completely prevent the use of marijuana and other intoxicants, which are becoming harmful to the society.

In this regard, he said that steps will be taken to issue special orders so that wholesale dealers can inform the Eagle office in advance about the amount of various drugs purchased and sold at retail, including the type of drug, batch, etc., online. The CS said that by doing so, the use of drugs like NDMA and cocaine can be controlled.

CS Sai Prasad instructed the officials of the department to resolve them as soon as possible as there are about 200 NDPS cases pending with the Excise Department.

He said that steps will be taken to introduce special curricula from classes 6 to 12 from the next academic year to create awareness about the ills caused by the use of marijuana and other intoxicants.

Eagle (Elite Anti Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement) Chief IG A. Ravikrishna said that efforts are being made to launch the Eagle website soon with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Officials of the relevant central and state government departments participated in this meeting.
