Several key decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. The cabinet has approved allotment of 615 acres to APIIC in Muthukur, Nellore district. The proposal to set up an industrial park here has been approved.
Satyasai district has approved allotment of land for 500 MW to Adani Power in Tadimarri and 1000 MW pumped storage projects in Kondapuram, YSR Kadapa district. The cabinet has decided to allocate land at the rate of Rs. 5 lakh per acre.
Appointment of 2,260 special education teachers. Proposal to shift Potti Sriramulu Telugu University in Hyderabad to AP has been approved.
Ambedkar Open University granted permission to set up study centers to provide coaching to students.
Approval for setting up a legal university through the Bar Council of India in Amaravati. The cabinet discusses the proposal to provide ration and other goods through shops.
