Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that additional incentives will be given to industries and projects invested in backward areas of the state.

He said that if industries are set up, those areas will also develop.. and the locals will get employment, thereby spreading wealth everywhere. The 7th State Level Investment Promotion Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of CM Chandrababu on Thursday at the Secretariat.

In this meeting, SIPB approved projects worth Rs. 28,546 crores in relation to a total of 19 projects. These investments will provide employment and employment opportunities to 30,270 people. In the 7 SIPB meetings held so far, investments worth Rs. 5,34,684 crores have been approved. Thus, 4,73,969 people will get employment opportunities.

Chief Minister Chandrababu said that the goal of the coalition government is to ensure equal development in all areas. It was revealed that the investment coming to the state is being planned to be established equally in all areas. The Chief Minister clarified that the companies that have acquired the lands should set up the units within the specified time frame.

On the other hand, the Chief Minister ordered that the details related to the industries, projects, investments and jobs created in the state should be included in the online portal. The CM also suggested that these industries should be mapped cluster-wise.

Chief Minister Chandrababu said that tourism, IT and food processing industries should become the drivers of development. The Chief Minister suggested that there are immense opportunities in these sectors in the state at present and that entrepreneurs should be encouraged to set up industries by utilizing these.

It was suggested that various companies that have signed agreements in the hospitality sector in the state should ensure that construction is completed quickly. He ordered that necessary infrastructure be provided at various industrial projects. The CM suggested that from now on, two SIPB meetings should be held every month and at least 25 meetings should be held per year.
