TDP state president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao has strongly condemned the comments made by former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the Mega DSC recruitment process.

AP TDP chief Palla Srinivasa Rao has accused the YSRCP chief of trying to malign one of the most important employment programs undertaken in Andhra Pradesh in recent years.

Palla said that the criticism was not aimed at the government program, but in the hopes, livelihood and future of thousands of young men and women who got teaching jobs through a transparent, talent-based process.

Palla said that the current government has taken action. The Chief Minister gave top priority to the Mega DSC within a few days of taking office, while Education Minister Nara Lokesh took the recruitment process forward.

He said that as a result, the recruitment process was completed in just 148 days, thereby appointing 16,347 teachers, setting a new standard for administrative performance in the education sector.

The promises made before the elections are judged by the opportunities they provide after assuming power. “The Mega DSC is a testament to the gap between political rhetoric and administrative implementation,” he said.

Rejecting allegations of exam rigging, Palla said the Mega DSC exams were conducted on the highly secure TCS ION platform, using advanced 256-bit encryption standards and multi-layered technical security arrangements.

Palla also dismissed attempts to create confusion regarding document verification. He clarified that such procedures are standard in all major government recruitments and are essential to ensure that only deserving candidates get the final appointment.

Today, 16,347 teachers are serving in classrooms across Andhra Pradesh. Behind every appointment, there is a family that has stood with sacrifices, struggle and perseverance.

Making indiscriminate allegations at this stage is not only irresponsible—it is a grave injustice to those who have earned their positions through talent and hard work, he said. He said.

In addition to fully implementing parallel reservations for women, the disabled, sportspersons and ex-servicemen, he also linked the SC category for the first time. Srinivasa Rao made it clear that the coalition government, regardless of political criticism, would focus on employment generation, education reforms and economic growth.
