AMARAVATI: In Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, assets worth more than Rs. 2 crore were found with Commercial Taxes Department Attendant Kondapalli Srinivas Rao. ACB officers conducted simultaneous searches at Srinivas Rao’s house and his brothers’ houses in the raid.
It was confirmed that he had assets beyond his income. 760 grams of gold and 5 gold biscuits were seized. 7.8 kg of silver ornaments were seized. Rs. 22 lakh cash was identified in bank accounts. Expensive buildings and vacant land were identified. Allegations of extortion. ACB officers arrested him and registered a case.
