AMARAVATI: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the government will complete the distribution of 1.12 crore pattadar passbooks by March 2027. He asserted that the process is completely corruption-free and directed the officials to ensure that the passbooks reach the homes of the beneficiaries directly after auto-mutation.

The Chief Minister, who participated in the ‘Mee Bhoomi – Mee Hakku’ programme held in Surepalli village of Vemuru constituency in Bapatla district today, personally distributed the passbooks to the farmers and reviewed the land records in their presence.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Re-Survey 2.0 has been launched to resolve land disputes permanently. Out of a total of 16,816 villages, re-survey has been completed in 6,976 villages.

The entire re-survey will be completed by March 2027 and new passbooks will be issued. Advanced security features like blockchain technology, QR codes and digital lockers have been introduced to prevent fraud. He said that the Land Titling Act has been repealed to protect property rights.

1.37 lakh acres of village service inam lands have been removed from Section 22-A. Steps are underway to free another lakh acres of service inam lands.

The list of 22-A prohibited lands is being completely reformed. He said that 100 percent auto-mutation has been implemented for sale, gift and partition deeds. At the same time,
the government has simplified the registration charges to Rs. 100 for properties up to Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 1,000 for properties above Rs. 10 lakh.

The Chief Minister said that after being in power for five years and creating havoc, they are now resorting to threats and intimidation after losing power. He warned that attempts are being made to attack media houses and such actions will harm democratic values.

Stressing his commitment to the rule of law and governance, the Chief Minister said that maintaining law and order is very important. He said that while it is not difficult to take action against such people, his government will always act strictly in accordance with the law.

The Chief Minister said that encouraging such behavior is dangerous for public safety and the future of the state. Emphasizing that collective responsibility is essential to safeguard the progress of the state, he urged the people to be vigilant and not to be misled.

Referring to the development of tourism in the region, the Chief Minister said that Suryalanka Beach will be developed as a “mini Goa”. He said that the government is focusing on eco-tourism, temple tourism and beach tourism.

The Chief Minister assured the development of Vemuru constituency by sanctioning funds of Rs. 10 crore for a bridge over Tungabhadra Drain, Rs. 15 crore for HLB on Kollur Ferry Road, Rs. 2 crore for a culvert on Bhattiprolu-Pesaralanka Road and a fire station in Vemuru.

The Chief Minister reiterated that stable governance, transparent systems and people-centric reforms are essential for the long-term development and stability of the state.
