(Puttaparthi,) Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that Sri Sathya Sai Baba has influenced the lives of crores of people with his social service, problem solving, spiritual concept, peaceful life and path to liberation. He said that he spent his life journey on this holy land for 86 years and spread his ideology to the world, taught knowledge and showed the right path.
He participated in the centenary celebrations in Puttaparthi on Sunday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sathya Sai Baba. He visited the Sathya Sai Maha Samadhi along with Vice President CP Radhakrishnan. Later, he participated in the festivities and watched cultural programs.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Chandrababu said….’On November 23, 1926, Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai incarnated in this holy land for one purpose. From the age of 8, he acted as a person who had a divine mind with prayers, kirtans and bhajans. At the age of 14, he abandoned his previous name of Satyanarayana Raju and realized himself as Sathya Sai. Gods incarnate somewhere and somewhere. Sri Sathya Sai chose this holy land.
Puttaparthi was turned into a place of spirituality and divinity on the banks of the Chitravati River. Sathya Sai Baba is the God we have seen in the form of Maavan. It is everyone’s good fortune to remember his services on the occasion of Sathya Sai’s centenary,’ said CM Chandrababu.
He said that a new chapter has been started with the principles of truth, religion, peace, love and non-violence. ‘Services took shape with the Sathya Sai institutions established by Baba in 1960. He wanted universal peace, universal happiness and the welfare of all people. Through the vision of Bhagavan, wealthy and prominent people from all over the country and abroad followed his path of service.
Prasanthi Nilayam is an energy center. Along with the centenary, there is another speciality today. It has been 75 years since the construction of this Prasanthi Nilayam. This place has become a venue for spiritual celebrations. It has become a place that provides solutions to the suffering and hardships of devotees. Baba, who considers human service as Madhava service… The services have been further expanded through the Sathya Sai Central Trust.
From education to medicine, from drinking water to mental satisfaction, everyone has been provided. Services have been provided through the trust in the country and abroad. 60 thousand students are studying in 102 Sathya Sai schools.
Sathya Sai has 7.50 lakh service members today. The state government is officially organizing festivals to explain Baba’s services.
