The CII A Summit in Visakhapatnam generated widespread enthusiasm, optimism for economic growth and a positive public sentiment – it was energized by calls for effective follow-up and timely fulfillment of ambitious investment promises
The CII Partnership Summit was a resounding success. It has truly become a platform for partnership more than an investment summit. On behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh, I express my heartfelt gratitude to all the partners, especially the international partners, who came to Vizag to participate in this festival of cooperation. 4,975 industrialists, including 640 international delegates, participated. He said that 41 business meetings were held with 91 speakers, 16 business meetings were held with eight countries and he participated in 24 bilateral meetings.
He said that the conference attracted investments of 13.25 lakh crores, 613 MoUs have provided employment opportunities to 16.31 lakh youth and the state government has attracted investments of over Rs. 20 lakh crores in 17 months.
He said that the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub is working as a platform for future entrepreneurs. He said that MSME parks will be set up in all 175 constituencies to encourage entrepreneurs. In addition, the Chief Minister said that common infrastructure and marketing facilities will be provided to promote industrialization.
In addition to the available incentives, the Chief Minister said that the state government has decided to open escrow accounts and provide a sovereign guarantee to those who come forward to invest in the state.
He said that it is planning to develop logistics from east to west. The Chief Minister said that Rayalaseema will be developed as a horticultural and industrial hub, Coastal Andhra will be developed as an Aqua Hub and Visakhapatnam region will be developed as an AI Hub with the establishment of a data centre.
The state government has stressed its vision to promote innovation, which includes plans for drone taxi services in the near future,
