Kovvur RDO Rani Sushmita said that arrangements are being made to organize the Godavari Aarti on November 14 in a grand manner at Goshpada Kshetra in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. A review was held on the Godavari Aarti with the officials of the coordination departments in Kovvur on Wednesday.

She said that steps are being taken to organize the Godavari Aarti on Friday, November 14. She said that there will be Naga Aarti, Nakshatra Aarti and Kumbha Aarti in the backdrop of the Godavari Aarti.

The RDO said that strict arrangements are being made so that the devotees who come to the Godavari Aarti do not face any inconvenience. She instructed the municipal officials to provide drinking water facilities and lighting for the devotees.

Since public representatives and high-ranking officials are present, police officials have been asked to ensure tight security to prevent traffic jams and any untoward incidents. It was clarified that proper precautions should be taken in the matter of counters to prevent stampede at the prasadam distribution centers.

Instructions were given to the R&B officials to set up barricades at the bathing ghats and ghats, to appoint a medical officer in the medical camp, and to the Deputy DMHO. Instructions were given to the irrigation officials to set up pantlas, to arrange for gaja swimmers, to arrange 15 boats, and to make them wear T-shirts to identify them.

He said that all the officials should cooperate with the public representatives and high-ranking officials in attending the Godavari Aarti program and make it a success.
