Kolhapur – In the case of Comrade Govind Pansare’s murder, the Bombay High Court’s Kolhapur Bench has granted bail to Dr. Virendrasingh Tawde, Shri Amol Kale, and Shri Sharad Kalaskar, who were found to be innocent. With this verdict by Justice Shivkumar Dige, the path to release has been cleared for Dr. Tawde after a legal battle lasting 9 years and 6 months.
In this context, Sanatan Sanstha representative Shri Abhay Vartak stated, “Earlier, the Kolhapur Bar Council had refused to provide a defense lawyer. Now, communists are pressuring to cancel the bail. Overall, this is an example of how ‘pressure groups’ of progressives and communists are destroying the lives of innocents. A gold medal-winning ENT surgeon had to spend 9 years in jail – this is a heartbreaking example. Who will compensate for the valuable years of their lives?” he asked.
“This is joyful news for the Hindu community ahead of the Diwali festival. Recently, Hindus were declared innocent in the Malegaon case, and now bail has been granted in the Pansare case as well. So this year, Hindus will truly celebrate Diwali,” said Shri Vartak.
The legal principle “Justice delayed is justice denied” fully applies to Dr. Tawde, Shri Kale, and Shri Kalaskar. Those who obstructed and delayed the legal process are culpable. With this bail, half the battle is won. By God’s grace, complete acquittal and total victory will soon be achieved – we place our faith in the ‘Goddess of Justice,’” Shri Vartak concluded.
