He said that the tender process for some works related to this project has already been completed. He said that the tender process will be completed soon. He said that the historic Havelock Bridge over the Godavari will be made attractive and beautiful, and Pushkar Ghat will be made a spiritual center. He said that beautification work is being carried out in Bridge Lanka.
He said that his intention is to show the beauty of Kadiyam nurseries to the world. He said that the Kovvur Goshpadakshetra will be made a place for world tourists to visit. He said that Nidadavol and Kota Satthemma Temple will be developed as a tourist attraction.
He said that the tenders for the Gandikota project in Kadapa district have been completed and the project work will begin soon. He said that funds have already been sanctioned with central assistance and Gandikota will be developed as the Grand Canyon of India.
He said that steps have been taken to further modernize the wonderful Suryalanka Beach in Bapatla district. He said that funds have already been sanctioned from the Centre and that the Surya Lanka Beach front will soon see development. He said that once the work is completed, the Surya Lanka coast will become a national tourism hub.
Minister Durgesh revealed that tent cities will be set up to provide accommodation facilities to tourists in circuits connecting the areas near 21 major pilgrimage sites in the state, inspired by the Kumbh Mela.
He said that plans have been made to ensure that tourists can visit all types of tourist places in Srisailam. The Minister reminded that the Cabinet has already approved star hotels.He added.
