AMARAVATI: The death of 20 people in a massive explosion in Vetlapalem, Kakinada district Andhra Pradesh, CM Chandrababu expressed shock over the incident.
CM Chandrababu spoke to the media after visiting the injured at Kakinada GGH.
An ex-gratia of Rs. 20 lakh each was announced for the families of the deceased. He assured that all possible support will be provided to the affected families.
He made it clear that strict action will be taken against those responsible.
The condition of 9 of the injured is critical.
The responsible officers are being suspended. After the investigation is completed, action will be taken against those responsible, said Chandrababu.
