AMARAVATI .- Prime Minister Modi, who advised the people of the country to follow the saving mantra in the wake of the crisis in West Asia, is ready to follow them himself. It is said that Modi has ordered to reduce the number of vehicles in his official convoy by 50 percent
It is known that Prime Minister Modi recently called on the people of the country to try to save fuel during the current tensions. Official sources said that Modi has decided to implement these measures himself. As part of this, Modi instructed the Special Protection Group (SPG) to reduce the number of vehicles in his convoy.
He also ordered to increase the use of electric vehicles (EVs) in convoys. However, he made it clear that no new vehicles should be purchased for this purpose.
It seems that the SPG has started implementing these orders while ensuring that there is no disruption to the security protocol. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav, along with other ministers, have already reduced the number of vehicles in their official convoys on the Prime Minister’s call.
