Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the 11th International Yoga Day to be held in Visakhapatnam should be organized in a record-breaking manner. Prime Minister Modi will be participating in the Yoga Day program to be held on June 21, said Chandra Babu.
Chief Minister Chandrababu hopes that this program should be organized in a way that will go down in history. He reviewed the program with the officials at the camp office today.
‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’ has been taken as the theme of Yoga Day this year. Chandrababu said that ‘International Yoga Day to be held on June 21 should be taken seriously and organized brilliantly.. This should be the beginning of yoga practice in the state.
At least two crore people should be reached by this program. A campaign should be launched in the state with the theme ‘Yogandhra-2025’. To prepare people for this, Yoga Month should be observed from
21st of this month of June.
Yoga practice should be held in all villayge and ward secretariats across the state during this month. For this, private individuals, trainers, yoga associations and experts should be involved. People should be trained on yoga online for a month. Chandrababu said that those who complete the month-long training should be recognized and given certificates.
Students of schools and colleges in the state should be made participants in this program. Everyone should feel that yoga is a basic responsibility. They want yoga practice to become widespread in the state even after Yoga Day.
Officials gave a presentation on the Prime Minister’s program, areas where people will participate, and management at Visakhapatnam’s RK Beach. He said that arrangements are being made for people to perform yoga asanas everywhere from RK Beach to Bhimili Beach. Officials have made arrangements for about 2.5 lakh people to participate in yoga from RK Beach to Bhimili Beach Road.
68 locations have been identified for conducting yoga. RK Beach, Rushikonda, School, Cricket, Police, Sports, Navy premises and many other vacant places have been identified for conducting yoga. Officials said that 2,58,948 people will be given the opportunity to practice yoga through these 68 locations.
On the occasion of completing 10 years of declaring Yoga Day, the CM suggested that the Visakhapatnam program with the participation of the Prime Minister should be organized in a grand manner.
