7 dead, 49, injured in a train accident in Kantakapalli, Visakhapatnam -Kothavalasa
The families of the deceased will be given Rs.10 lakhs, Rs 2 lakhs for the injured and other states Rs.2 lakhs and Rs.50,000 compensation announced by the state government of Andhra Pradesh.

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Visakhapatnam on Monday to visit the injured in the train accident at Kantakapalli, Visakhapatnam. Visakha he will arrive from Vijayawada at 12:30 PM on in a special flight. Visakha-Rayagada passenger train and Palasa Express collided yesterday A total of 49 passengers were injured in this train accident and 39 are undergoing treatment at Vizianagaram Government Hospital. Ten people are undergoing treatment at Visakhapatnam KGH.
Responding to the seriousness of the accident, CM Jagan has given Rs. 10 lakhs Rs 2 lakhs for injured, and Rs 2 lakhs for dead in other states. and Rs.50 thousand injured . He said that the state government has announced a compensation. Government and private hospitals are providing better medical services to the accident victims.
