Taking a dig at Congress and YSR Congress, Prime Minister Modi said, “In this election, there is Congress on one side and YSR Congress Party on the other. Congress leaders here accepted defeat even before the results. The YSR Congress Party was also completely rejected by the people of Andhra Pradesh. The YSR Congress got a chance for a full five years in Andhra Pradesh. These five years were wasted and Andhra was pushed very back in development.
Remember where Congress led the country ten years ago. When Congress was in power at the Centre, India was known for scandals, he said.

“The YSR Congress promised to build three capitals in Andhra Pradesh but failed to deliver even one capital in all these years. A major robbery was committed in pursuit of three capitals. The Polavaram project was canceled and the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh was also stopped. The central government has already sanctioned Rs 15,000 crore for this project. Farmers of Andhra Pradesh are suffering from shortage of irrigation water. Farmers are not getting the right price for rice crops. I assure you… After June 4, the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh will resolve all these issues,” the Prime Minister expressed.
