AMARAVATI;  Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has advised district collectors to adopt technology and come up with innovative ideas to achieve the highest level of public satisfaction in the delivery of government services, including welfare programmes.

Addressing the seventh meeting of collectors held at the Secretariat today, the Chief Minister made it clear that public satisfaction would be given top priority. He directed the officials to achieve more than 90 per cent public satisfaction in all services.

He asked the Collectors of all 28 districts, including the two newly formed districts, to make each district an innovation hub in the implementation of welfare schemes to empower the people, achieve development and to make it a hub for innovation.

The Chief Minister said that by introducing 28 best practices, the coalition government is winning trust at the national and international levels, resulting in an influx of investments.

The Chief Minister said that to win the trust of the people, the revenue records should be finalized by March 2027. There should be no room for any mistakes or tolerance in the revenue systems.

Secretaries, heads of departments and district collectors should go on field trips to personally know the response of the people. He said that district collectors should compete with each other in the performance and development of their respective districts.

Citing the example of the recent Class 10 results, the Chief Minister said that instead of leaders taking credit, the performance of government schools was on par with corporate schools. He said that the government has succeeded in reducing the cost of electricity purchase and efforts are underway to make this real reduction a reality for the first time by reducing it by another 30 paise.
