(Rayachoti,)  Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that the goal of the alliance government is to have a house of its own for every poor person by 2029.

He announced that another 5.90 lakh house entrances will be conducted on the upcoming Ugadi day. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu participated in the mass house entrance program held in Devagudipalle, Chinnamandem mandal of Rayachoti constituency of Annamaiya district on Wednesday.

3 lakh houses across the state were inaugurated virtually from the Devagudipalle Sabha premises. The Chief Minister himself handed over the keys of the houses to many beneficiaries. Permission documents were given to many people who have their own plots to build houses.

In 1984, NTR started the construction of pucca houses for the first time in the country. As the previous government bankrupted the state financially, difficulties are being faced at every step. However, in the 17 months since coming to power, we have completed 3 lakh houses and handed them over to the beneficiaries. We have constructed 2,28,034 houses under PMAY BLC, 65,292 houses under PMAY Grameen and 6,866 houses under PMAY Janman, totaling 3,00,192 houses,” CM Chandrababu said.

‘Between 2014-2019, we have completed 8 lakh houses at a cost of Rs. 16 thousand crores. The previous government shattered the dream of owning a house for the poor. Not only did it cancel 4.73 lakh houses, but it also imposed arrears of Rs. 900 crores on 2.73 lakh beneficiaries. The coalition government will take the responsibility of paying those arrears.

This is the government of the poor. We are working tirelessly to provide justice to the poor. Apart from the money given by the Centre for the construction of houses, the state government is also giving it. It provides financial assistance of Rs. 2.50 lakhs in urban areas and Rs. 2 lakhs in rural areas. In addition to this, it is providing financial assistance to SCs and BCs. Rs.50,000, STs Rs.75,000, PVTGs Rs.1,00,000.

From now on, Muslims will also be given an additional Rs. 50 thousand. Nearly 6 lakh people have stopped building houses because they could not afford it. We will help them complete them. With this decision, 3.73 lakh BCs, 1.57 SCs, 46 thousand STs and 22 thousand tribals will benefit. This additional assistance will cost the government Rs.3,220 crore. In addition to building houses, we will take steps to provide facilities like drinking water, electricity, drainage, roads, gas connection, solar power and the internet.” The Chief Minister said

“Good governance and development are possible only with a stable government. An entrepreneur should be created in every family. We will make Dwakra women entrepreneurs. Rs. 50 thousand crore bank The thrifty women who have taken loans are setting an example by paying them on time. We will make solar arrangements to generate electricity at home.

Soon, we will provide drinking water to the Pulivendulas. Also, as promised in the elections, we have implemented the Super Six. As soon as the coalition government comes to power, we will release Rs. 500 crore and repair all the roads. People should also change their way of thinking. We should bless those who do good without looking at caste, religion, and the region.” Chief Minister Chandrababu said.

“River linking is my life’s ambition. If Ganga-Cauvery linkage is done, the word drought will not be heard in the country. With the support of Prime Minister Modi, we are taking the state forward in all sectors. We are taking steps towards realizing Swarnandhra by 2029.” Chief Minister Chandrababu said.
