Jagan Reddy has become synonymous with lies and corruption – this truth has now come out with sufficient evidence, said Andhra Pradesh TDP President Palla Sri Srinivasa Rao.
Srinivas Rao alleged that Jagan Reddy is trapped in his own failures and is not able to predict the future and is making false statements and lies to the people.
Srinivasa Rao said that the people of Andhra Pradesh are not ready to mislead the people through the stories he has fabricated now, which happened during the administration of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who cannot bear politics through corruption.
He alleged that Jagan, who has failed in his duties as a representative by not respecting the verdict of the people, not attending the assembly and not attending the assembly, has no moral right to criticize the government. He said that Jagan Reddy’s residence in Tadepalli has now become a place for monthly fraudulent meetings.
During the YSRCP government, more than a thousand poor people lost their lives due to nerve, kidney and liver diseases after consuming spurious liquor, and many citizens suffered serious health damage.
He pointed out that independent laboratory tests in Chennai, Bengaluru and the United States had also confirmed the presence of toxic substances in “J” branded liquor. “It is shameful that those responsible for this tragedy are now talking about liquor reform,” said Srinivasa Rao.
He alleged that the then Jagan Reddy government had destroyed countless families through commissions and greed, made many women widows, distributed spurious liquor, and deliberately disabled digital payment systems in liquor sales for five years, looting thousands of crores.
He stressed that as soon as the coalition government came to power, it took decisive steps to remove spurious liquor from the market.
The country has introduced a multi-layered testing system of this kind for the first time – 13 separate tests for ENA, nine for whisky, brandy, gin and vodka, seven for beer and nine for rum. Sample tests are being conducted not only during blending and bottling but also directly at depots and retail points.
He explained that surprise inspections have now become routine at distilleries, depots, bars and liquor shops.
When it comes to medical education, Jagan Reddy has blocked the establishment of new medical colleges through negligence and incompetence. Jagan has made contradictory comments about the completion of the construction of Paderu Medical College in the current coalition government.
Jagan does not understand the difference between public-private partnership (PPP) and privatization, he said, adding that he does not care about medical education for the poor.
He said that the coalition government’s commitment is to make quality medical education accessible to poor students, Srinivas Rao said.
He concluded that no matter how many stories Jagan Reddy weaves that not even ₹200 crore was spent on medical colleges in Uttarandhra during Jagan’s tenure and ₹500 crore was spent lavishly in his Rushikonda palace, the people of Andhra Pradesh have lost faith in his false speeches.
