The sleuths of SOT, LB Nagar Zone team along with LB Nagarpolice apprehendeda (03) member gang who were trying to cheat the gullible public by providing Manoranjan bank notes as fake currency notes.

The details of the accused persons:-
1 Mohammad Bahauddin @Jaweed S/o.Md. Wahabuddin, age:53 years, Occ: Senior Assistant, Utnoor Range Office, Adilabad, Forest department (Suspended in 2014 year), R/o. H.No. 3-3-230/1, Bukthapur, Adilabad district, Telangana.
2 Jampani Anderson S/o. Anthony, age:37 years, Occ:Taxi Driver, R/o.Darmaaram (V),Dichpally(M), Nizamabaddistrict.
Previously involved in following crimes in Hyderabad City
1) Cr. No. 329/2010 U/sec. 20b, 2a 8c of NDPS Act of Gopalapuram PS.
2) Cr. No. 931/2010 U/sec. 420,511 IPC of Panjagutta PS
3 Maggidi Kishan S/o Jangaiah, age: 27 years, Occ: Taxi Driver, R/o.Buttapur(V), Dasturabad(M),Nirmal district.

BRIEF about the accused:-
The accused Mohammad Bahauddin @Jaweed, after his suspension, is eking his livelihood by working as Real Estate broker. He came into contact with one Salman R/o. Nizamabad who was into this cheating practice. He provided training to Bahauddin and also introduced Andreson to him.
The accused Andreson and Maggidi Kishan were working as taxi drivers become friends at RGIA Airport Taxi Stand.
The accused Bahauddin motivated Andreson and assured of giving good share if he joins with him in cheating gullible people. The accused identify gullible people, lure them that they will provide fake currency notes @ 1:3 ratio and provide Manoranjan bank notes by taking original notes. One among the gang member act as police and on the pretext of police they flew away from the scene.
On 21-12-2023, the accused A1 to A3 came to Hyderabad purchased Manoranjan bank notes at a shop at Begum Bazar, Hyderabad trapped one innocent person with a promise of providing fake currency for original currency with a ratio of 1:3 and while they were proceeding to meet the customer. Police apprehended them in a vehicle checking Near Sitara Grand Hotel, LB Nagar and found children bank notes 60 lakhs (500 notes x 100 = 120 bundles).The same were seized under a cover of Panchama before the mediators.
The accused Bahauddin previously committed similar offence at Pandharkawda, Yavatmal of Maharashtra State and Nirmal, Armoor, Nizamabad of Telangana State. (02) times in LB Nagar area of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate limits.
Police is trying to find out the criminal history of the accused as well as identifying the victims.
The arrest of the accused was made under the directions of Sri G. Sudheer Babu, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, under the guidance of Sri K. Muralidhar, DCP, SOT, LB Nagar- Maheshwaram, Rachakondaby SOT LB Nagar Zone Team & LB Nagar police personnel. PRO Rachakonda
