In all the states where elections are to be held, the Election Commission is preparing to conduct elections on a full scale.

The General Election 2019 schedule was given on March 10th. It is being discussed that this time it will be given ten days earlier.

Elections to Lok Sabha and four state assemblies are to be held. As the elections have to be held in six phases in this order, keeping in mind the summer , exams, etc., they think it would be better if the schedule is announced ten days in advance.

A complete plan has already been prepared including polling dates. They are to be finalized and announced. In the past, elections in Telugu states were completed in the first phase. In fact, Jamili elections are to be held in Telugu states.

As KCR previously went to the elections six months earlier, the Lok Sabha elections have to be held separately in Telangana within three months of the elections. Jamili elections will be held in AP. If the election schedule comes at the end of the month, there is a possibility of polling in the second week of April.

Keeping in view the ongoing election situation, the Election Commission is likely to release the schedule for the states where assembly elections are to be held along with the parliament elections by the end of this month.

The Election Commission has announced that the arrangements for the Lok Sabha elections across the country have been completed. EC Commissioners visited Odisha where assembly elections are also held.
