TDP chief Chandrababu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will meet the Central Election Commission team coming to Vijayawada.on 9th January. For this reason, Telugu Desam Party sources revealed that the ‘Ra.. Kadalira..’ program to be held in Venkatagiri on the 9th of this month has been postponed.
They will complain to the EC team about the irregularities in the state. Party sources said that the public meeting will be held as usual in Allagadda of Kurnool district on the 9th afternoon.
The EC team is going to meet with the AP officials again on the preparations for the general elections. Election Commissioners Anup Chandra Pandey and Arun Goel are likely to come to AP under the leadership of CEC Rajiv Kumar on 9th and 10th of this month. A meeting will be held with District Collectors and SPs including CS, DGP. Another review will be conducted on the issue of 2024 voter list design, errors and irregularities in the voter list.
The EC team will specially review EVM first level check and resolution of complaints given by political parties.
