The state government is organizing the most prestigious ‘Adudam Andhra’ program to bring out the hidden talent of the sportspersons and groom them into national and international sportspersons.
State Home and Disaster Management Minister Dr Taneti Vanitha said.

On Tuesday in Kovvur constituency, the Home Minister attended and started the ‘Audham Andhra’ programs in the playgrounds of various schools as the chief guest.  First, the minister played badminton for a while in Kovvuru town and inspired the players.  Kovvuru RDO Ashutosh Srivatsava and Assistant Collector (Under Training) Yashwanth Reddy played badminton with the leaders and players.  Later he played with the students of DAV School in Vemuluru.  Balloons were launched and sports competitions started.  Later, they lit the sports torch with the students.

The minister said that the government under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched the Adudam Andhra competitions.

Recently, through the Jagananna Arogya Suraksha program organized by the Jagananna government, some students have been diagnosed with health problems and some are addicted to cell phones, She said, through such programs, all the youth will be healthy and improve their body strength by participating in sports.

Audham Andhra program will be held in the month of December every year in the future.  There are also reservations for sportspersons in terms of education, job and employment opportunities.. The youth should use them.  The Home Minister said that it will be held non-stop for a total of 47 days from December 26 to February 10.She added.
