Jagananna Vidyadevena today deposited Rs. 583 crore for 8.09 lakh children for July, August and September and the final installment of nearly 2 lakh final year students was also deposited by the CM.
“We have brought revolutionary changes in the state so that children can study well,” said CM Jagan. As part of the full fee reimbursement under the Jagananna Vidyadevena scheme, the CM released funds of Rs.584 crore to 8,09,039 eligible students for the July-September quarter of the academic year 2023-24 in a program held at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district on Friday. Jagan deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries.
The CM expressed happiness that Rs.11,900 crore has been given to 27.61 lakh children on behalf of their parents for this scheme alone in these four and a half years. The CM wished to change the lives of the poor, to come out with great degrees, to become doctors and engineers. The CM said that if they get a great education, the lives of those families will change.
The CM emphasized that only one education has the power to change the future of the country. He said that every step in the education system, starting from schools to higher education, has been a revolutionary step.
