Dr. VK Raju, a world renowned ophthalmologist, said that if ophthalmologists organize conferences and encourage each other to excel in their professions, it will serve the ophthalmology system better in the future.
Dr. VK Raju participated in a conference on ‘Anyone Can Research and Innovate’ jointly organized by Gautami Eye Institute and Eye Foundation of America at GSL Medical College. In Rajanagaram East Godavari district Andhra Pradesh.
Padma Bhushan Dr. Varaprasad Reddy said research and development (R&D) is the mainstay of innovation while speaking on the occasion of eminent doctors participating in the event.
Dr. Reddy was the chief guest. He shared his experiences in preparing Hepatitis – B vaccine and various problems faced during the course.
On this occasion, Dr. R. D. Ravindran Dhanwanthari gave a lecture. Prof. Dr. Jyohirmay Biswas delivered an eloquent speech. Gautami Eye Institute MD Mr. VV Kumar, Gautami Eye Institute CMO Dr. Y. Srinivas Reddy, Dr. A. Prashanth, PRO Srinivas Rao and about 300 medical people from all over India are participating in this conference.
