TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu reacted in the background of the Michang storm. He demanded that the government focus on the cyclone relief measures.
Immediate steps should be taken to prevent loss to the farmers. He said that the information that the impact of Cyclone Michang will be severe on the state is worrying. Farmers are likely to suffer a lot due to the storm. Chandrababu asked the government to ensure that rice donors are not harmed through a well-planned plan. He said that although the grain farmers suffered severe losses due to untimely rains in the past, the government did not respond appropriately. He said that farmers are already facing difficulties due to various restrictions in procurement of grain.
He demanded that the problems be solved immediately. He said that the storm at the time of harvest is causing serious concern to the rice farmers. They want to remove the restrictions on the purchase of grain. Immediate steps should be taken to provide shelters and essential food for the people affected by the cyclone. The TDP chief called upon the workers and leaders of the Telugu Desam Party to stand by the victims of the cyclone.
Chandrababu Naidu has appealed to the party leaders and workers to stand by the affected communities and provide conscious assistance as the impact of the cyclone is likely to be severe on many districts.
