Three people, including a child, were killed in an accident on the National Highway at Bandhapuram in Devarapalli mandal where a tire burst and collided with another car. This fatal road accident took place in East Godavari district on Tuesday afternoon. In this accident another 8 others were injured Inspector of Police Srinivas Rao told Bharat News
The accident took place when the car’s tire burst and collided with another car that was going on the other side of the divider. In this accident, two women and a child lost their lives on the spot.
The MLA of Gopalapuram who was going on the same route at the time of the accident informed the police. The police arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to Devarapalli, Gopalapuram and Kovvur hospitals for treatment. Devarapalli police are investigating.
