A prisoner who was undergoing treatment from Visakhapatnam’s King George Hospital escaped from the police’s custody

Bonnidhi Mahalakshmi alias Raju, a hardened prisoner from Pedavalasa village, Tallarevu mandal, Comman East Godavari district escaped from Visakhapatnam King George Hospital two days back.

He is Arrested under Posco case, the court imposed a two-year sentence.  He was shifted to Visakha Central Jail.  He has been serving his sentence as a prisoner in this jail from June 13, 2022.  He ran away with a well-planned plan to escape from prison.
According to the details received by the police This prisoner eats metal nails and pieces of GI wire on March 11, 2024.  Police admitted for medical purposes to Rajendra Prasad Ward  as he was suffering from stomach pain.

On March 22, the accused was shifted to the super specialty ward for surgery.  On April 6, at two o’clock in the night, the accused fled from the ward after telling the escort policeman on duty to go to the washroom and escape . Immediately the escort policeman Kalyan (39) informed the police.  Police are searching for the prisoner.

It is not just an allegation that Uttarandhra health provider Visakhapatnam’s King George Hospital has gradually turned into a den of criminals.  It has turned into an ideal area for criminals who join KGH in the name of illness and flee from the police.  This hospital..

Currently, this incident has created a stir in Visakhapatnam.  Police, Visakha district administration and KGH staff were alerted by this incident at KGH.Police teams are searching for the prisoner.
