Three people from East Godavari District died including a woman. in a road accident at Visakhapatnam today, police said.
The accident took place in Pendurthi Akkireddypalem A lorry hit a Tata AC van.
As a result, three of the passengers in the Tata AC van died on the spot. 10 others were seriously injured. All of them have been identified by the police as belonging to Kovvur of East Godavari district. Andhra Pradesh.
The injured were shifted to KGH for treatment. Pendurthi police have registered a case and are investigating. Police confirmed that Hanumantu Ananda Rao (45), Hanumantu Shekhar Rao (15), and Chintadi Indu (65) died in the accident.
Police also registered a case.
