On the occasion of the full moon, Chandi Homam was conducted at the famous Ilavelupu , Aradhya Daivam, Sri Mavullamma Ammavari Devasthanam, located in Bhimavaram town, West Godavari district Andhra Pradesh, under the auspices of the priests and Vedas.
94 couples participated in this Homam. Later, on the occasion of the Jyeshta Pournami, which marks the beginning of the month of Ashada, which breathes life into agriculture, Sri Mavullamma Ammavaru received blessings from the farmer brothers, sisters and devotees on the occasion of Eruvaka Purnami.
With the wonderful intention of wishing for the growth of agricultural and dairy crops, happiness, peace and prosperity, abundant rains for the well-being of the farmers, and long life and wealth for all the people of the state, Sri Dhanyalakshmi pujas were performed at the Sri Mavullamma Ammavari temple.
Similarly, Sri Saubhagyalakshmi pujas were performed for the well-being of women by the temple’s chief priest Brahma Sri Maddirala Mallikarjuna Sharma. Local legislator Anjibabu’s wife Satyavani and temple chairman Bondada Nagabhushanam trustees
participated in this program.
