Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has instructed ministers and officials to release a ‘Progress Report 2024-26’ on the two-year rule of the Praja Government to take the achievements of the Praja Government to the people.
These progress reports should be like action taken reports on the 7 white papers issued on the destruction caused by the previous government’s rule immediately after assuming power in 2024. Along with the 7 white papers, it has been decided to release progress reports on 3 other important issues.
The Chief Minister reviewed the release of progress reports with ministers and officials at the camp office on Sunday. Two years ago, the Chief Minister released white papers on the state’s financial situation, Polavaram project, capital Amaravati, power sector, law and order, mining and excise sectors.
The Chief Minister said that the latest progress report should include issues like how the previous government took the state towards development in two years… how much progress the state has made in all sectors… etc. The CM made it clear that this time, along with the 7 white papers, reports should be released on new development, governance and welfare issues.
‘Development’ progress report with agriculture, industries, infrastructure and tourism issues… ‘Good Governance’ progress reports with new policies, procedures followed and reforms undertaken after the people’s government came… Welfare – Empowerment progress report with welfare and P4 will be released this time.
The Chief Minister will release the progress report related to these 4 issues including finance, development, welfare and governance… After the ministers release 6 papers… the Chief Minister has decided to put the remaining 4 papers before the people.
The CM suggested that a plan be prepared to release all the reports by July 18. After releasing all these… the CM ordered that everything should be brought together in the form of a book.
On this occasion, he said that progress reports should be given every year. The progress report will be released on Monday first in the progress report.
