While huge loads of yarn are being exported from India to other countries, there is a serious delay in releasing them in India, said prominent yarn industrialist and Andhra Pradesh MLC Vanka Ravindra Nath.

He participated in the inaugural program of the Intex Fair event organized by World Expo in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

On this occasion, the event was inaugurated by Bangladesh Knitting Fabrics and Exporters Association President Mohammad Haytham, US Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce President Litin Ahmed and Ministry of Commerce Mahbubur Rahman.

Bangladesh’s cotton textile industry is 85% dependent on Indian yarn imports, and the textile industries of both countries will be relieved of the difficulties caused by the delay in container release at the ports and the path will be paved for fast-track exports to the world.

A large number of textile industries from India exhibited their products on behalf of Texprosil with business leaders from China, Indonesia, Japan and Korea.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravindra Nath, a member of the Legislative Council, said that the difficulties in India’s textile exports should be removed and exports should be supported. At the event, The yarn displayed by Ravali Spinners from Andhra Pradesh was well received by textile industry leaders from other countries.
