The prestigious award presented by The Economic Times, a leading national daily, has this time been bestowed upon Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The Economic Times announced that it is presenting the ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ award to him for implementing business-friendly policies, industrial reforms, and attracting large-scale investments to Andhra Pradesh.
Lokesh opined that this award is a testament to the confidence placed in Chief Minister Chandrababu’s reforms and administrative efficiency. Lokesh expressed the view that this award is a testament to Chandrababu’s vision, the reforms he implemented, and the confidence in his administrative speed.
Lokesh expressed his happiness in receiving this award. “This is a moment of pride not only for our family but also for Andhra Pradesh. There are only a few leaders who have led India’s reform journey with such clarity, courage, and consistency,” Lokesh stated.
The award will be presented to Chief Minister Chandrababu by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at a special ceremony to be held in March.
This award was selected by a high-level jury comprising prominent industrialists, financial experts, and legal professionals from across the country. This time, the jury includes prominent figures such as Bharti Group Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal, Kotak Mahindra Bank founder Uday Kotak, Narayana Health founder Dr. Devi Shetty, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, and Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata.

Deloitte is acting as the advisor to the jury. This award has previously been received by Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw (2024), S. Jaishankar (2023), Nirmala Sitharaman (2021), former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis (2019), former Union Minister Arun Jaitley (2017), and Piyush Goyal (2015). Prominent personalities and cabinet colleagues congratulated the Chief Minister on receiving this prestigious award.
