The entire country stood by us. We prevented enemy aircraft from entering our country. All our military bases are ready.
We are prepared for any operation. The country is not claiming any damage to Pakistan. DGMO Air Marshal AK Bharti said at a media briefing in Delhi today.

We were given a detailed briefing on the successful joint operations conducted in POJK and Pakistan itself to destroy the terrorist infrastructure. We also reiterated that our fight is with the terrorists and their support infrastructure. However, it is unfortunate that the Pakistan Army intervened and chose to fight for the terrorists, due to which we also had to respond.

This brings me to the point – how the Indian forces managed to minimize the damage to the civilian and military infrastructure of the country despite the relentless efforts of the Pakistani forces.

Many of you and the majority of the population have a lot to say about the layered and integrated AD system implemented by the Indian Armed Forces, which includes the assets of the Army and Navy, in addition to the primary AD assets of the LAF.

As you all know, this robust AD system includes a wide range of AD sensors and weapon systems, ranging from point defense weapons like LLAD guns, shoulder-fired MANPADS and short-range SAMS to area defense weapons like the AD Fighter AC and long-range SAMs held in our inventory.

In addition, the waves of several drones and UCAVs used by Pakistan have been intercepted by indigenously developed soft and hard-kill counter-UAS systems and well-trained Indian AD personnel.

All this comes together into an efficient and effective AD environment through the lAF’s Integrated Air Command & Control System (IACCS), which provides us with a net-centric ops capability.

Much has been said and written about the new systems, I would like to place on record the performance and efficiency that even old and battle-proven AD weapons like Pechora, OSA-AK and LLAD guns have demonstrated in countering Pakistani threat vectors in current operations. Another highlight is the excellent performance of indigenous AD weapons like the Akash system.

I would also like to say that it has been possible to assemble and deploy this powerful AD environment in the last decade, due to the unwavering budgetary and policy support provided by GoL, acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and weapon systems.

Some of the results achieved in countering enemy threat vectors in the past week are now showing on the screen. This is only a small sample of what is being put in place, and not the neutralization of the entire threat.

As for our strike operations, yesterday I already shared some details about the targets that the IAF has engaged. A composite picture of what the LAF has targeted so far is now showing on the screen.

I am sure that many of you must have already seen the impact of these attacks, as a large number of videos and photographs are being circulated in the media.

Some representative examples from open sources are now being shown on the screen. Finally, I would like to make it clear that despite the minor damage, all our military bases and systems are fully operational and ready to take up any further operations if required.said Bharati.
