AMARAVATI: If parents are not taken care of, then the salaries of government and private employees will be cut. The Telangana state government has taken a sensational decision. It has taken a step to put an end to a key problem in the current society.

After reaching a certain age, children should accompany parents. But.. currently, many elderly parents are being left orphans. Revanth Sarkar has decided to abolish this rule.

The state government has prepared a bill for the care and welfare of elderly parents. The state government will introduce the ‘Telangana Employees Accountability and Supervision Bill-2026’ in the assembly today (Saturday).

With this bill, if employees of government, public sector organizations, and government exchequer do not care about their parents, 15 percent of their salary will be deducted from their salary and deposited in the parents’ accounts.

This bill is not limited to government employees. If employees working in private organizations also do not care about their parents, 15 percent of their salary per month will be deposited directly into their bank accounts._

_If an application is made to the special officers (district collectors) appointed by the government in the districts, explaining the reasons, the officer will examine and resolve the application.

Then the officer will determine 15 percent of the employee’s salary or Rs. 10 thousand, whichever is lower, as compensation for the parents. According to this bill, parents who do not have any support should apply first. If necessary, both the mother or father should discuss with the officer appointed by the government at the district level and submit the application.

This application will be examined and the problem will be resolved within 60 days. Then, instructions should be given to deduct the specified amount from the employee’s salary and deposit it in the parents’ bank accounts. If the officer does not care and does not resolve the issue within the time limit, there is another option. A retired judge of the High Court at the state level will act as the Commissioner. He has the option of appealing.
