AMARAVATI: The budget, which was prepared keeping in mind the aspirations of nearly five crore citizens, has provided a decisive trajectory for the growth of the state. Increased allocations to key sectors like agriculture, industry, irrigation, education and healthcare.

He clarified that the budget has made unprecedented allocations for the upliftment of backward classes, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, minorities and women. Collectively, over ₹91,527 crore has been allocated to these sectors, which he described as a testament to the government’s seriousness in keeping social justice at the centre of its governance.

Srinivas Rao said that the government has given top priority to education and allocated ₹32,308 crore – a move that will lay a lasting foundation for future generations. The allocation of ₹19,306 crore to the health sector and ₹22,942 crore for Panchayati Raj and rural development is a welcome development, along with ₹19,306 crore for the health sector and ₹22,942 crore for Panchayati Raj and rural development.

He said that the budget formulation has demonstrated a clear focus on balanced and inclusive growth and aims to strengthen important sectors like education, welfare, healthcare, rural and urban development.

He said that significant funds have been channelled to sectors like school education, BC welfare, health, water resources, urban development, energy, agriculture, social welfare and welfare of economically weaker sections.

It is the responsibility of the elected representatives to explain the budget in a way that is accessible to the people.
