Antar Singh Arya, Honorable Chairperson, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), Government of India, and Honorable Members, reviewed the implementation of the reservation policy and safeguards provided to Scheduled Tribes in Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) in a review meeting held in Vijayawada today.

In the meeting, detailed presentations were given on the measures and programmes being implemented by VPA to ensure the reservation policy and protect the interests and welfare of Scheduled Tribe employees.

Visakhapatnam Port Authority reiterated its commitment to transparency, social justice, equal opportunities, and strict adherence to the guidelines of the Government of India regarding the reservation policy and safeguards for Scheduled Tribes.

They explained the various programs and activities being undertaken by Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) regarding the reservation policy and protections for Scheduled Tribes.

Chairperson of Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Shri Jasmeet Singh Bindra, Secretary Shri M. Shankar Babu and representatives of SC/ST officers and employees welfare associations Shri Uma Maheshwara Rao, Shri Deveshwara Rao, Shri Ramakrishna, Shri O. Ramalingam and Liaison Officer B.
