The inaugural convocation of the Central University of Andhra Pradesh is not just a celebration, it is a crucial milestone in the journey of this young generation.

The University has developed a long-term vision to become a future-ready institution, the President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu, said today at Anantapur.

She said that its commitment to the goals, especially those related to quality education, reflects a sense of responsibility towards inclusive and equitable development.

She expressed confidence that the Central University of Andhra Pradesh will emerge as a centre of excellence and contribute significantly to the realization of the vision of a Vikasit Bharat by 2047.

Addressing the graduating students, the President said that this convocation is the culmination of their years of dedication, perseverance and hard work.

The President said that while the students’ success is the result of their own hard work, it is also shaped by the sacrifices of their parents, the guidance of their teachers and the support of the community.

Therefore, it is their responsibility to give back to society. Whether they become entrepreneurs who create jobs, scientists who drive innovation, government employees who serve the people, or philanthropists who serve the community, their education should stand strong for the underprivileged, she said.

The President said that technological advancements are transforming every sector. In such a fast-changing world, education should not end with just earning a degree. The drive to constantly adapt to evolving technologies is one of the greatest strengths of students. She advised them to develop the courage to explore new ideas and acquire new knowledge.

The President told the students that inculcating moral values ​ ​ would be of great help. She said that honesty, compassion, empathy and respect for nature are not just high moral ideals, but are also the foundations of holistic development.

The President said that the vision of a developed India can be realised only through the energy, talent and commitment of our youth. Whatever path they choose, they should strive for excellence with dedication and sincerity.
