State Education, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh met Evervolt Green Energy Private Limited Chairman Simon Tan. We have set a target of having 160 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity in Andhra Pradesh by 2029.

Accordingly, we have announced the Integrated Green Energy Policy 2024. Big companies like Renew and Sujalan have already started their operations in the state. Set up a large-scale solar cell, module and battery manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh. Set up Evervolt Research and Development Center for advanced solar energy storage innovations in AP.

Minister Lokesh asked for support for renewable energy skill development training in ITIs in AP. Responding to this, Evervolt Chairman Simon Tan said that… Skill training on renewable energy will be provided in an ITI selected by AP.

Evervolt Green Energy, a Bangalore-based company… specializes in solar cells, modules, rooftop solutions, and energy storage products. He said that his company, which achieved 1 gigawatt of production capacity by March this year… is working towards reaching 3 gigawatts by 2026.

Simon Tan said that his company will talk to a high-level team and consider setting up a unit in AP.
