Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is the only leader who can provide and complete the most important irrigation projects in the state, which cost Rs 97,000 crores, said Jaggampet TDP MLA Jyothula Nehru in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
Chandrababu Naidu has no hesitation in helping the farmers in the state, which is why he is committed to completing the irrigation projects very soon and developing the agricultural sector, said Nehru.
He said that under his leadership, along with the Polavaram project, all the remaining projects will be completed, and with the cooperation of Chandrababu Naidu, four irrigation projects have been completed in Jaggampet constituency, he said.
In the past, the Tallur lift project was completely damaged due to the pipelines being completely destroyed by the YSRCP government under the then Chief Minister Jagan Reddy for five years.
Now, after the coalition government came to power, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu allocated Rs 52 crore for the Tallur lift project, got the cabinet approval and also issued a work order.
The cabinet approved the sanction of Rs 140 crore for the Mallavaram lift irrigation scheme. Jyothula Nehru thanked the Chief Minister in the Assembly, saying that Chandrababu Naidu is the leader who can keep the state’s agriculture sector and irrigation projects at a higher level in the future.
