Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha held a review with officials on the rain situation. She spoke to the collectors of several districts on the phone and inquired about the situation at the field level. She ordered to set up control rooms in all districts immediately.

It was clarified that people in the Krishna river basin and other low-lying areas should be constantly alerted. Officials should be available at the field level and monitor the situation. He said that SDRF and NDRF teams should be kept ready to deal with emergencies. The minister ordered to remove dangerous hoardings and fallen trees on the roads immediately.
